Shane is just a really cool and cute name for a little boy. It's unique without being too weird. Easy to spell, non-embarassing, I just really got hooked on this name. Also, Shay as a nickname works nicely.

The bully at my elementary school in the early '90s was named Shane, he had a rat-tail. Every Shane i know is a redneck (edited by darkerside) this is not entirely true! I'm married to a Shane and I have a cousin named Shane and both are upstanding and very intellegent people :)
