This is my son's name and he is named after his father, Theophilos
(NOT Theodore as everyone always ask!!)

At the time, I didn't want a "junior" so I shortened my husband's name and threw it out there one afternoon (and 5 months pregnant). My husband was touched that I suggested this name, he was taken a bit back.

Unfortunately, when we told his family about the name (Theo) all I got was weird looks (my husband knew why but didn't clue me in right away). "Theo" in Greek, means "uncle". We would be naming a son "uncle" and later in life, he would be known as "Theo Theo" - we did have a boy and yes, his name is "Theo" !!

Oh well, things could have been worse! :-)
