My husband and I named our son, born Aug. Of '03, Bladen! I was about 7 months along and we still had not agreed on a name for him. Then one day one my way to a Dr. Appt, I passed an old dirt Rd. Bladen Rd. I called my husband and said that I had the perfect name for him! We both LOVED the sound of the name Bladen and decided on it right then and there! We know it's a little odd for a child (our child) to be named after a dirt road, but but we just fell in love with it!
