We named our son this in 2014. We have received nothing but compliments. Understand however that you will encounter people who can't pronounce or spell it correctly. We receive mail and other things from daily events and his name is often misspelled. Oh well. I am not going to divulge our reasons for choosing this moniker, but the meaning of it is beautiful no matter what your beliefs are. I do feel it is a beachy/surfy name and it fits my blonde haired blue eyed boy with a head full of curls to a T.
