One of my best friends is named Bryson and the name fits him perfectly, strangely enough. He's got a wonderful voice and an even better sense of humor. Also, he's a good actor and just one of the nicest people you'll meet. So if you're looking for a good name in these regards, Bryson is a good one.
I named my son Bryson as a word mash of "Bryan's" and "Son". I think it's dignified and easily nicknamed.

My son, Bryson, was born in June of 2010. The name was at the top of my list for years. I once worked at a school and there was a young man named Bryson there. He was well behaved, well liked and genuinely someone people really liked to be around. I moved on and far away, but took that name with me. People either ask me twice what his name is, or more commonly they tell me about a Bryson they know or have known and it's always extremely positive. It's such a great name and just unique enough, but never misspelled.
