Irish Gaelic, Pronounced Kee-von. Siobhan is a totally different name and is a girl's name. Please do not get these two mixed up, it is not a different spelling of a girls name and it is a boy's name.

Above is not 100% right. It is not pronounced Kee-vawn but Kee-a-vawn. I know, Irish (Gaelic)is my first language!! Also spelling is not Ciabhan but Ciabhán. To non speakers of Irish this might not mean much but the accent on the second 'a' changes the sound from van to vawn.

Personal experiences with the name Ciabhan: | Edit

I don't want yet another nice boy's name ruined by confusion.
