Personal experiences with the name Colm: | Edit

My brother's name is Colm. Growing up he didn't like it. People assume his name is Collin a lot, and he is forever having to spell it or correct their pronunciation. My mother used to introduce him to people saying "This is Colm, like the newspaper column" to make sure they could pronounce it. On the bright side, he hasn't ever met anyone with his name.
