- Comments and insights on the name Deacon: | Edit
We named our first born Deacon Maddox and have always gotten tons of compliments on the choice. He has always been a kind-hearted leader which we encourage. So far, I have heard of two other families who chose the name just from meeting him. It is strong and distinguished, but won't stand in his way when he hands out his resume.
- Personal experiences with the name Deacon: | Edit
I wanted this name in 1993 for my firstborn son. I was talked out of it because it reminded my mother of someone she didn't like. Fast forward eight years and my fourth son is about to be born. I claimed that name as the reason why I had only boys. I didn't get to use it! He was born ready to fight. His personality is ebullient, tenacious, mature but reckless. He is a handful of "id" energy and I hope that these characteristics are going to help him do great things as an adult. Definitely not a worker bee or a follower. A good heart.
