Personal experiences with the name Deagan

A friend of mine and her husband named their first son Deagan. I'm not a huge fan of the name myself honestly, but I have kept that to myself. He is a cute little boy and has a very sunny disposition. One drawback I see with his name however is that they have ran into people who will ask after being told his name, "Did you say Deacon?" or "Oh, little Deacon is just too cute!" but other than having to correct the occasional person, they love it and it fit what they were looking for; something slightly uncommon but not too out there. They also considered Declan but it has been growing in popularity around our area so they opted for Deagan instead.
