I named my son Deklan(born 2013) and, obviously, I love the name. Older generations don't seem care for it as much as the younger ones, but that's okay. When asked what his name is I am usually asked to repeat it, sometimes several times. I have been asked "so what do you call him?" I am assuming they think we must use a nickname, and I think, "Umm.. Deklan...it's not like it's long or difficult to say!"
