My brother's name is Eloy. I think it's a cool name, and sort of romantic for a boy while still sounding strong. But it gets pronounced a lot of different ways - "EEEloy" or "ELoy" or "elOY". The last one is our our family pronounces it, but the others are how most Americans pronounce it.
