My son is named Grady and we are complimented on his name very frequently! I have been asked twice though, if his real name is Graden.

Our friend's son, Grady, is named for his great-great-great grandfather who fought in the Civil War. It's a classic name that was most popular a few generations ago, and gets a lot of compliments because it plays well to current trends.

My son's name is also Grady. We spell it a bit differently. But I love the name. We get compliments on it and it really suits him. I feel Grady is a very strong name.

I've always seen this as an old and dated name because both my grandfather and great grandfather had this as their middle name. However I now see that it has a modern appeal and ring to it.
