Personal experiences with the name Graeme: | Edit

We named our daughter Graeme and we love it! It is unique but not trendy or made up. Originally it was going to be Graham but then I found the Scottish spelling and thought it looked more feminine, also my family is Scottish so I liked that her name would have some history. The meaning is "abode or home", home is very sweet and special as well. My family was not too keen on the name until after she was born and now, as with all names, it is just her. With a world filling up of girls named things like Emerson, Elliot, Rian, Carter, and Maxwell, we didn't feel like this was too far off base. She will be in good company. Also it is not popular as a boys name so the chance of her meeting a boy named Graham is pretty slim.
