Comments and insights on the name Jan: | Edit

For some unknown reason, Jan (pronounced Jan, like the girl's name, not Yahn) was a popular name for boys in my school. There were 2 hot guys named Jan there, and nobody teased them about having a girl's name. If they had been nerdy or creepy, they would have been teased relentlessly. Another guy's middle name was Jan. I never heard of guys named Jan until I moved to that town and that school. There were also guys in that school named Francis and Marion (also girl's names).
