We named our first born Landon. My wife and I love the name! It was the right choice for us. Hopefully, not many others will name their boys the same. =)
I grew up a big fan of Michael Landon and admired him. I also admired his last name and gave it to my son as a first name. I receive compliments often about naming him Landon. It's a strong name, and stands out of a crowd but in a good way!

With a flick of the wrist, Brandon is softened to a perfect modern surname. Actor Michael Landon's three decades on the air help lend Landon an All-American glow. Its popularity varies enormously by region: it's a huge hit in the deep South and in rural areas, but much less common on the urban coasts.
