My husband's name was Leonard. When we met, he was using the nickname Lennie. If you have the vision of your son being strong, masculine, multi-talented, uber-competitive, and not willing to suffer fools gladly, this is the name for you. This name is more in line for a builder or general contractor rather than a suit sitting in an office worrying about his hair. This is the name for a gentleman who will never pass a woman stranded on the side of a road, a tower of strength who has your back, a friend to animals, and a man that can build anything you can dream up. To quote Ann Heche in Six Days Seven Nights, "...you can drop him off in the jungle with a pocket knife and a Q-Tip, and he builds you a shopping mall..". This name is for the Harrison Ford types, not the Donald Trumps. That has been my Lennie of 35 years.
