Similar to Logan but a fresh alternative for parents who may like the sound of Logan but want something slightly different. Also, after meeting several little girls with the name Logan here recently, parents could go to this name for again the same sound but its sound does not lean toward the possibility of being feminine the way some people seem to think the name Logan does. Perhaps it is the fact that Logan has "an" on the end of it giving it an "ann/anne" sound where Loden has the "den/en" sound that calls to mind other popular boy names such as Aiden, Alden and Brayden.

Also it is a shade of green, loden green is a grayish sort of green. Many names associated with various colors over time have been liked by parents the world over for years i.e. Rose, Gray, Jasper. Loden would fit in well here.
