My son's (born in '08) name is Lukas. We love this name. We went w/ the traditional Scandinavian spelling, as my husband is Swedish. It does get misspelled sometimes but once someone knows it is spelled with a K, they remember.
We mostly call him Lukas, but also Lukie and Luke. This is a top name in Sweden as well, even though for some reason, it is not listed on this site.
