My son's name is Marco. However, he was my grandparents second great-grandchild and they were getting on up in age. Since I chose a name they'd never heard before, my grandmother always spelled his name with a K instead of the C because she was familiar with the name Mark. She passed away when my son was 10 and he always loved the fact that she spelled his name in a "special" way.
