I really love this name and its meaning. I picture a handsome guy who is laid back and kind of earthy.

I have a young son named Paxton who is smart, cute, and funny. Well of course I think those things because I'm his mom. The name has become much more popular than we imagined but we still love it and its still kind of unique.
Paxton is a solid, masculine name with stong consonants. My husband was nervous about choosing such a unique name, but I think he loves it now.
**My Son is 10 and named Paxton. My husband went to college with a Paxton and he was so funny and cute. I looked for a baby name that no one would have. I looked in every baby name book known to man and Barns and noble and borders even on the computer, when baby names web sights did not exist. I could not find it. So I named him Paxton. He is ADORABLE! The name suits him perfectly. He is strong, smart (all A's) FUNNY, serious, respectful and super handsome. He LOVES baseball and playing outside. The only bad thing......he does not like his name.
My son is called Paxton Emmett, everyone comments on his name and says how they'd never use it but how much it suites him. We picked it to go with twin brother Paceyn Azizur. Talking my husband into using this name was difficult but it went well with his siblings names and he fitted right in. He's started talking and can say Pax so thats a start :)
