Comments and insights on the name Seraphim: | Edit

Love the name, but would name a girl Seraphim over a boy as it dosn't sound too manly, and being I would call her Sera for short (sounds like Sarah) I could see a son being picked on in school for that.

Personal experiences with the name Seraphim: | Edit

Hi - to all.
We decided to call our son Seraphim a couple of days before he was born. We were in a book store- Albany- shopping mall Auckland, New Zealand- I was reading a magazine(just a father :-) and my wife Andgelika was searhing for a name for our to be born --she had a few books on table with baby names :-))). She asked how I liked that one - I said sounds to good :-) OK lets call him Seraphim. Once he was born- right after he was checked - our midwife - Theresa - asked - "how would you call your son" -and was very surprised - I guess very unusual name. The child is now 4 month old and very happy and healthy - for sure he keeps his Mom busy - I guess this part was expected:-). I think it is a very good name and also has the saint called Seraphim - so this is also very important. Happy moments to all. Vlad Ivanov.
