Comments and insights on the name Walker: | Edit

It's a nice name in general, but now that I'm a fan of "The Walking Dead," it just brings to mind the term they use for zombies, "walkers."

Fell in love with this name after seeing the musical Ragtime, which made me cry! One of the characters that truly stuck out to me was Coalhouse Walker, and while naming a baby Coalhouse seems a little ridiculous, Walker sounds wonderful!

Personal experiences with the name Walker: | Edit

My little boy is Walker, and I absolutely love it. Our friends met it with skepticism at first, but now we all very much agree that we could never imagine him named something else. LOVE it.

My youngest son is Walker; my husband named him after his great uncle. Walker very much suits him b/c he is always moving and likes to be on the go.

The name walker reminds me of watching "Walker, Texas Ranger" as a kid. It's an awesome name. I've only met a couple kids with the name Walker; I love it.
