Comments and insights on the name Bianca: | Edit

We named our daughter Bianca or rather Bianka as it's spelled in Eastern Europe. We quite like this name as it's fairly rare, but people easily understand it and it has an international character. It's also recognized because of Shakespeare.

Personal experiences with the name Bianca: | Edit

We named our daughter Bianca. She has lived up to her name with dark chestnut hair, milky white complexion, and blue eyes. Her friends at college call her "Snow White", and they have decorated her dorm with pictures and drawings of Snow White. At home, we use the nickname Bee Bop.

My name is Bianca. I'm in my late 30's and have only ran into 2 others. One my age and one quite younger. I love my name and get complimented on it all the time. The most common is how beautiful it is, and exotic. But with that being said, the next comment is usually "it sounds like a stripper's name." So if you choose this name for your daughter, hopefully she will be strong-minded and NOT get easily offended.
