- Personal experiences with the name Aubrey: | Edit
My youngest daughter is Aubrey, taken from the name of one of my favorite actresses, Audrey Hepburn, but trading the 'd' for a 'b' to lend a softer sound.
Speaking of trading a "d" for a "b", I know a guy who traded a "b" for a "d" - he got a dog from a neighbor whose name was Bingo, and changed his name to Dingo, which he said sounded tougher, but the dog would answer to it because it sounded just like Bingo.
