My name is Betsy (nickname for Elizabeth) and I LOVE it! It's a name everyone has heard of and can spell, but most people only know one or two people with my name. I can usually call someone and just use my first name to identify myself. There was never another Betsy in my class or at work.

I am a Betsy, and I like my name. Its pretty rare but harkens back to colonial times. I get a big kick out of meeting other Betsys or finding my name on a souveneir because its uncommon.
