- Personal experiences with the name Cameron: | Edit
i know a few Cameron's, both boys and girls, who pull off this name with great gusto! its a very fine name; a little quirky, a little preppy and very strong.
Primarily a male name outside the US.
I know one girl, and one boy called Cameron. I used to think of Cameron only as a female name when I was younger, and thought it weird when I met a boy named Cameron. Then I found out that it is much more common for a boy to be called Cameron than a girl. To this day, I have always found Cameron a very handsome boys name.
