Comments and insights on the name Cassie: | Edit: My daughter is Cassandra, but we always call her Cassie, and we have from birth. The only problem with her name is that sometimes people think her name is Cathy...maybe we don't enuciate well enough but when we introduce her, people always say,"Nice to meet you Cathy"....it's usually older folks, but otherwise, I've had good experiences with the name. My daughter is the only one in her class with the name, which I like, especially being a teacher. There's one other Cassie in the school with my daughter, but that's fine with me....My daughter is now 12 and, she is a sweetheart and I can't imagine her with another name.
