My middle name is Cate! I've always liked it better than when 'Kate' is spelled with a 'K'.
My younger daughter's middle name is also Cate. She is named after my mother in law Catherine but we wanted to match our older 2 who have short middle names. We like it because it's unique and yet not weird.
