My first name is Chantel, and for all of my life, anybody new who learned my name could NEVER spell it right. Some got lucky or just happened to have the same name, but most strangers would always spell my name crazy like Shantal, Shantel, Chantelle, Shantal, Chantill, Chentell...; the list goes on and on. I would have to write it down for them just so it wouldn't bother me!
