1. My name is Charmaine. I hated it when I was growing up, but now I love it. I'm almost 21 and I've never met anyone else with my name
2. I've never really liked my name because people often mispronounce it which irritated me. My friends and family have always called me "Maine" so I'm really not familiar with my name at all. Despite that, I would not change my name because it's been who I am for the past 18 years, and I've come to appreciate it.
