Comments and insights on the name Chiara: | Edit

Unless you're in Italy, people have a hard time pronouncing it. They want to pronounce the "Ch" like "Charles" instead of like "Christine." Still, it's a beautiful name and I'm glad it's mine.

According to the baby name book "Cool Names" by Pamela Redmond Satran and Linda Rosenkrantz, the name Chiara is 'cooler' than the names Charlotte and Charlene.

I live in Italy and the Ch is pronounced like in Christine actually. K e ah r ah
