Comments and insights on the name Crystal: | Edit

It could have been worse. 1. Almost all of the Crystals I know are brunette, including me. 2. People constantly ask me to spell it because of the numerous variations. 3. My baby brother couldn't pronounce it so he called my sissy. 4. It is highly associated with women who use fake names because they don't want their clients to follow them home, i.e. strippers. 5. Not too many of my peers had the same names.

Personal experiences with the name Crystal: | Edit

"I've found there are a lot of people who dislike the name and give it a bad rep. Whether that is because they know someone with the name and dislike them or because they dislike their own name so they have to take it out on someone's. Personally I like the name, it's worked for me since my parents first named me with it and no one seems to ever comment about it. It's a strong, thoughtful and creative name, and I don't think there is another that could match with the same properties." -Crystal.

My Crystal is a souvenir baby from the Arkansas quartz digging trip. I cannot wait to tell her when she's a teenager.
