Mom named a doll Daya from the Harry Belefane song Day-O when she was a little girl. Chorus is Daylite come and me wanna go home. I lived by that theme when I got old enough to drink and bartend. I lived in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Laughlin Nevada was 30 min. up the road and would go there till morning light came through the big glass windows over the river. I had a great time with this name. I am so glad my mom chose it. Daya Chere. She had a french babysitter for my brothers and she picked the middle name Chere. Pronounced Day-uh Sherrr-E. The middle name is said with a french sound, roll the R. Everyone tells me they love my name and asks where it came from. Thanks Mom!!!
