Well my name is Deidra and i like the name and all but i hate the fact how even people i have known forever spell and prounce my name incorrectly. Why?I have no clue.

My name is Deidra, and I constantly receive compliments on my name. I have only met 2 other people with this name. On the downside, if you are thinking about this name be prepared for your child to constantly have their name misspelled and mispronounced. The most common mispronounciation is "Dear-dra". Don't ask me where they get the extra r, but it happens a lot. Overall, I love my name, and would not trade it for anything!
