My beautiful and loving grandma is named Dema. We plan to use it as a middle name if our baby is a girl. She came from Tennessee and Oklahoma and had very southern family members. This name just makes me happy and I would love nothing more but to name my little girl after my beloved grandma!

I am a Dema with the middle name of Maria. Named after after my mother whose middle name is Odessa. Until I reached high school I was called Maria by all. Once in high school and employed I am called Dema by friends and co-workers. My maternal grandmother said we were named after a dear friend of the family who lived in Georgia.
