my mums name

My name is Desiree. My mom named me after a song she heard in the 50's. She always swore that she would name her first daughter that. And I came along March 1,1981. I've had a lot of compliments on my name. Everybody says it's different and it's very exotic in some senses. I've told other people that there aren't too many girls out there with my name and it's a very unique name.

This is my niece's name. They pronounce it with a REE at the end, instead of RAY. She is often called Desi.

My girlfriend is named Desiree. She was born in 1990, around the height of the name's popularity. She usually goes by Dezzie as a nickname. She is actually only the second person I've known by this name though I thought it was more popular. But it definitely suits the woman I love! On a curious side note, the name page asks for names of siblings. One of the names listed is Jacob. As it happens, that is her younger brother's name.
