Personal experiences with the name Eldora

My great-grandmother's name is Eldora. I always thought it was a beautiful name and I plan on giving this name to my First daughter, calling her Ellie for short. Although it is not very popular it has some roots in the spanish language (the city of El Dorado) and from what I have been able to find means "gift of the sun" or "golden one". All and all its a strong, beautiful name with a lot of personal meaning behind it and it can easily be shortened if my daughter wants to go by something else.
