i cant find any information on this name. it is a combination of Elizabeth and Isabella!

I had never heard of this name. My husband and I like Elizabeth, but I did not like the possibility my child would be called Liz. Therefore, my husband came up with Elizabella. This allowed us to keep the feel of the name Elizabeth, but have the advantage of calling her Bella for short.

I call my daughter Bella.

Bella is the nickname of choice. In spanish Bella is beautiful which is what we think of our daughter.

Liza is also an excellent nickname, youthful and unique. She will stand out amidst all of her Bella classmates!

Elizabella is my daughters name. We live in Berks County, PA. When I named her in 2004 I had not heard of that name in our area. The first time I heard of it around here was 1 year ago, a friend of a friend of a friend ended up naming her daughter that. Kinda bursted our bubble lol. We liked when people asked what her name was because she is so beautiful and when we would say Elizabella they would say oh Isabella, and we would have to clarify her name a 2nd time to people, then finally they would say WOW E-LIZ-A-BELLA (like it was a name from a different planet) and repeatively compliment it on how beautiful and creative of a name it was. But now as time passes soon it will just be another one of those names that gets played out unfortunately, but despite that possibility I believe it is the most beautiful, Elegant & unique girl name I have yet to come acrossed.

Since naming my daughter Elizabella I constantly get asked if I named her after the popular teen novel Twilight. I got curious and read the book, even though it was poorly written it was a good read full of fluff. Anyways what I found out is that the main characters name is Bella, her vampire husbands mom's name is Elizabeth the two combined created a Twilight fanatics dream name. It also didnt help that the middle name they used for their daughter also happened to be the name middle name I used...I swear it wasnt on purpose lol.
