Personal experiences with the name Etta: | Edit

My grandmother was born in 1928 and her middle name was Etta. She's the only person besides Etta James who I've heard having this name.

My grandmother's name was Etta (born in 1919) and I've always loved it. She claims that her name given at birth was actually Ethel but she didn't know that until she was preparing to get married--and then she legally changed it to Etta since that is what she had been called her entire life.
