I think it's great my name is a classic name; but not like Elizabeth or Emma. when I think of the name Geraldine I think old actresses that look wonderful even in black and white. The women that look perfect. Not fake women, made of plastic, but actresses from the 20's through 40's. the name Geraldine hit it's peak in the 30's ranked 39th and I was born in 1990's when it was ranked 832nd. People do pronounce it wrong all the time, but it sets me away from the common names and I love it.

My name is Geraldine. Everyone calls me Gera, unless I'm in trouble. I love people's reactions when they learn my name they always say, "Seriously? you're lying. That's not your name." Then they are just amazed that someone would name their child that. I even had a lady ask me if my parents hated me because of that name.
