Comments and insights on the name Grace: | Edit

Grace is an elegant, GRACEful, gorgeous, beautiful name for a baby girl.

I just ADORE the name Grace! It is, as PP said, so GRACEful and elegant.

Grace is very popular. People say that it's unique and uncommon and that is a complete lie.

Personal experiences with the name Grace: | Edit

A really great friend of mine's name is Grace. She is an extremely beautiful woman. She has a slightly... dark personality, but she is sweet when she has to be. :) No, seriously, I love her, and her name. It's SOOOOO pretty!!! She's a really great lady. I love her. And her name. It's very enchanting. =)

My friends daughters name is Graciela, Grace for short. They've called her Gracie to soothe her, and her siblings call her that. I think Graciela is very romantic, intelligent, and sophisticated. Love, love, LOVE it!

What sort of a name is Graciela?

My mother-in-law's name was Grace. Her middle name was Eleanor. I think that was such a beautiful combination!

My name is Grace. I've always liked my name, mostly because few girls my age seemed to have it (I'm a 1994 baby). It sometimes felt a little odd growing up to hear your name at odd points, like when reading quotes from the Bible and such, but you get over that pretty quickly (or at least I did). I remember a kid in kindergarten wanted to tease me so he called me 'grass' based off of my name, but it is such a poor idea that I doubt anyone else would have the same issue. All in all, based on my experience, it's a strong choice. It's nice because it starts with a strong sound but ends with a softer, vowel-based sound at the end. My middle name is Rose, so my name sounds a bit feminine/ romantic but I think Grace is a pretty malleable name if you wanted something stronger sounding for a first/ middle name combination. I met another Grace with the middle name of May, so I think most people veer towards a 'pretty' sounding first/ middle name combination.
