What a nice name.

Still sounds too old-fashioned.

I'd never want to be stuck with this name!

Brings to mind an older lady.

Personal experiences with the name Hazel: | Edit

My mum's name is Hazel, named by parents Alma and Bobby, so I always used to think of it as being quite an old-fashioned name, but recently I've reconsidered and now think of it as quite a beautiful name. Made more so by the fact my mum has beautiful hazel eyes, something they could not have known at the naming.
I've met one other girl called Hazel in my life; she was a girl at school two years my junior. Maybe she finds it's even more unusual to meet other Hazels.
