My name is Janae. I didn't like it when I was a kid because I wanted to "fit in" and have a common name. But now that I'm an adult, I love my name. I get lots of compliments when people hear my name for the first time. It's very unique, although I have known a few other girls named Janae in my lifetime. The only negative thing about my name is that people often mispronounce it - I've been called Jane, Janie, Janna, Jenny...I could go on. Overall, I think my parents did a great job choosing my name.
