I get many compliments on my name being different from the original 'Jade'. By just adding a 'y' it looks much prettier and much more unique. I pronounce my name 'Jade' but often get called JD...when I was a child this bothered me when teachers constantly could not pronounce my name properly. But now that I am older I am proud of my name.
