When people hear the name, I do have to spell it...usually!

When people hear the name, they either light up and say it's gorgeous or they look confused.

Personal experiences with the name Jence: | Edit

Jence was what everyone called my great-grandmother whose real name was Geneva. It is a very old name, but is now contemporary and unique. I named my daughter Jence and she is now 5. I get lots of compliments. I gave her a traditional/classy middle name (Margaret) to balance out its uniqueness. Something that is really interesting, is that Jence means "High Born" and we later found out that my great-grandmother Jence was a direct descendant of Robert the Bruce, King of Scotland and his family of royals. It is a perfect name for a little Princess!
