pronounced Jeh-see-kah

(My name is Jesika, and it drives me crazy when people pronounce it "Jeh-SEE-Kah". Mine's "Jeh-sick-kah", like Jessica. Jesika is also a name that can, reportedly, be found in Germany, pronounced "Yeh-sick-kah".

many people have a hard time pronouncing it Jeh-see-kah

(Jesika is my own name, given to me by my mother, so I've been living with it all my life. I really rather hated it up until a few years ago, when I finally realized that it suited me.
Many people pronounce it in different ways, so no matter which pronunciation you're going for when/if you name your child Jesika, they're going to go through life correcting people.
When I was little, I found it highly irritating that it was impossible to find items with my name on it, like jewelry or vanity plates for bikes, and other things like that.

(I read somewhere once, looking to see if my name had a different meaning than Jessica anywhere, that in Germany, Jesika (pronounced Yeh-sick-kah, as Germans pronounce 'J' as 'Y') meant "Foresighted".
