My middle name until I had it legally changed. I think Jo can be a good name for a girl, but the boys name Joe is too overused, so to me, it will always be a boys' name. I've known some women named Jo, and their names seemed to fit them, but I never liked it for myself. People expect you to be a tomboy, and I was a girly-girl.
