Personal experiences with the name Jori: | Edit

It's my name. I've met one Jori and heard of 20 or so.

I am also a Jori. My father named me after the newscaster, Jorie Luloff, back in the 1970s. I don't know why he dropped the "e" at the end. I have met a few variations of Joris in my life and have found that a few of us were named after the same newscaster. I hated the name until I got to college and there were eight Jennifers on my dorm floor. It was then I began to appreciate the uniqueness. Still have a hard time getting people to spell it right and realize I'm not Joyia or Lori.
