My name is Kanchana from Mumbai, India and I am 26yrs old. I have had an amazing adventurous life till now with its usual ups and downs... but overall i love my name and its special n dear to me.. More so because it was my brother who named me (after my elder cousin sister who was also coincidently named - kanchan) when i was in mummy's tummy even before knowing whether its a girl or a boy.. :)

Kanchana or Kanchan has been used in a famous bollywood (hindi) movie song starring Rishi Kapoor & Padmini Kolhapuri from the movie " Zamane ko Dikhana hai" called:
" HOGA TUMSE PYAARA KAUN.. HUMKO TO TUMSE HAI .. ARRE EH KANCHAN ARRE OOOH KANCHI .. HAAN PYAAAAAAR!!"

it was shot on top of a running train. Simply put, the lines mean " there is no one in this world more lovable than you, hey kanchan / hey kanchi i looooove you!!"
