Personal experiences with the name Kenya: | Edit

I absolutely love my name (Kenya). My father named me after the country since he went there and thought it was the most beautiful country in the world, and I was the most beautiful daughter. I have only gotten good comments on the name and have never met another Kenya or anyone who knows another Kenya. Although I do get annoyed when people pronounce the name Keenya, or mistake it for Tanya, Kenna, or any other name they seem to concur up. I am very glad I wasn't named one of the name my parents considered (Sarah, Shannon, Samantha), since they are so common. Overall, I totally love my name and think is fits me as a person as well.
